Adam is married to Susie and they have a teenage daughter Megan, and two sons, Ben and Zeb. They also have a bearded dragon called Stanz and a dog called Barney. Adam leads our eldership team and is responsible for stewarding the vision of the church. Adam maintains and develops our relationships with Relational Mission and CTIM. Susie is employed part-time and is responsible for developing our DNA Groups as well as leading our CAP Life Skills course.
Julian is married to Lena and they have three adult daughters. The Perry family were part of the original team that moved from Dartford to help plant Medway Family Church in 1992. Julian became an elder at MFC in September 1996. He oversees the worship team as well as being our Chair of Trustees. Lena leads our Sunday morning creche teams and loves sharing the good news of Jesus with people.
Tony and Rhonda have a teenage son Aiden and are both employed as members of our staff team. Rhonda serves the church through developing our integration and discipleship pathways whilst offering evangelistic insight. Tony co-ordinates the recruitment, training, and support for our Groups & Communities and also leads our Pastoral Team.
Bola & Val have two young children, Caleb & Deborah. As a couple they have a heart to see healthy families producing healthy children and also love encouraging and gathering our students. Val is a full-time accountant and is our church treasurer. Bola works in IT and serves as a trustee on the churches Management Team. He also oversees the Hospitality and Welcome Team on Sundays.
Nat & Michelle are registered long-term foster-carers and have four children. Michelle was previously a school teacher by vocation and loves working with children. Nat is a full-time business development manager and is an active part of our worship team. Nat has completed practical ministry & theology training with Newfrontiers and occasionally preaches. Nat has a heart to see men become all God intends them to be.
Jim & Fleur have three children, Katie, Tommy & Maisie. Jim has undergone theological & ministry training within Newfrontiers and is involved on the preaching team. Fleur works full-time as a legal secretary. As a couple, they lead 'ME3' which is a geographical Missional Community covering the Peninsula area and it's surrounding villages.
Griff & Pam live in the Rainham area and have two adult children and enjoy their grandchildren. They run their own business in the Medway City Industrial Estate and are establishing a Missional Community with a focus on the Rainham area. They've been with the church since it was originally planted back in 1993. Griff serves as one of our trustees. Pam is employed part-time to help with our finance support.
Phil & Abi live in Chatham. Abi works for Medway Council as a trainee solicitor. Abi heads up our Sunday Yoof team and also serves as a trustee. Phil is a teacher at a school in Maidstone and is a keen sportsman having competed at the county level as an athlete. Phil leads as part of our Worship Team, serves on the PA team and together Phil & Abi co-ordinate our Youth ministry.
Bernard & Rosemary have 3 adult children and several grandchildren. They have a passion to see the Kingdom of God made known through prayer and in healing. Bernard is a retired history teacher who is an active part of the Management Team and the Preaching Team. Together they lead our Pastoral Team that supports the church in pastoral wisdom and advice as well as running Freedom in Christ. They are responsible for much of the renovation of The Jasper Centre with Rosemary having a background in interior design.
Chris & Catherine have two sons and together have a passion to see people set free from debt. Chris is a head teacher and is also a trustee. Catherine heads up our CAP Debt Help Centre alongside her job as a registered GP and liaises with other CAP Debt coaches across the Medway towns and local government/charitable agencies and organisations.
Becky heads up our "Foodie" Team that is responsible for preparing food and meals for events throughout the year as well as in conjunction with our Pastoral team to offer light relief to those in a difficult season of life. She is also involved in Hospitality and Welcome Team on Sundays. Becky is married to Steve and they have four children.
Perry & Naomi have four young children. Perry works as a bricklayer and is the team leader for our Alpha Course team. Naomi serves as our Worship Team leader and is part of the wider Relational Mission worship team.
Acacia leads the core-team for F.E.E.D. which is our student Missional Community. Acacia is also involved in coordinating the First Impressions team alongside Rhonda which helps integrate new people as they engage with CCC, in particular via Sunday gatherings. Acacia is also involved in our Sunday worship and youth teams. Acacia works full-time at Medway Hospital as part of their pharmacy team.
Candida is married to David and together they have two children. Candida serves as part of our Cornerstone Kids team on Sundays at Mid Kent College. Candida loves seeing families working well together and occasionally runs a Parenting for Faith group.
Matilda is married to Ralph, they have 3 teenage girls and are all actively involved in various ways. Matilda heads up our Cornerstone Kids ministry that serves our 5 to 10-year-olds on Sunday mornings. Ralph serves alongside Matilda as part of the Cornerstone Kids team and also serves as part of the Set-Up team. Matilda and her daughters also serve as part of our Welcome team.
Pat is married to Derek. Pat leads and co-ordinates the over 50s community group Connect. Pat loves having fun and spending time with her ten grandchildren.
Jon and Gemma have been coming to Cornerstone City Church since 2015. They are approved long-term foster Carers. Gemma is a keen runner and heads up our parent & toddler group Jasper Jingles. Jon works part-time with disabled children and enjoys taking their son to watch football.
Cornerstone City Church is a company limited by guarantee as well as a charity. The charitable trust is set-up as follows: The 'members' of the company are the elders of the church, the 'trustees' or 'directors' are Chris Norwood who is a head teacher in a secondary school, Bola Mogaji who is an IT specialist, Bernard Bentall who is a retired school teacher, Griff Crouch who owns his own business, Abi Carey who is employed in a legal capacity with the local council and Julian Perry who is the Chair of Trustees and part of the eldership team. Valentina Mogaji is a trained accountant and acts as the church treasurer. Along with Adam Voke, these people make up our Management Team who liaise and meet together regularly throughout the year to focus primarily on administration of vision and strategy, staff management, finance and legal/trust matters relating to the charitable trust, associated company and all of its assets.#CCCleaders
